Music
Inspiring music has long been a core value of Cobleskill UMC. From the days of legendary organist Miss Edna Mereness to the modern days of hand chimes, youth string ensembles and Christmas Cantatas, we love music of all types. If you share our love of music we encourage you to get involved. Here are some regular and seasonal opportunities we offer.
Choir
The choir meets every Sunday during the school year at 9:00am to rehearse music for worship. All voices are welcome! Contact our Music Director, Betsy Walsh, to hear more about choir.
Hand Chimes
We have a two-octave hand chime set and we pull it out at special occasions for a pop-up hand chime choir. If this sounds interesting to you, let us know and we'll include you in our next rehearsal.
Special Music
During all months of the year we love to feature some of our talented congregation on instruments they love to play. Whether its cello, ukulele, tin whistle or flute, let us know if you'd like to bring special music to enhance our worship of God. If you'd like to play with a group, we can make that happen, too.
