Meet Our Staff
Rev. Anna Blinn Cole
Rev. Anna Blinn Cole serves as the lead pastor at Cobleskill United Methodist Church. She holds degrees from Bryn Mawr College, University of Delaware and Candler School of Theology at Emory University. In addition to her service at Cobleskill UMC, she is the pastor at Warnerville UMC, a member of the Oneonta District Leadership Team, and a board member of the Upper New York Camp and Retreats Ministry.
Her husband, Garrett, is an avid pickle-ball player and their daughter June is six years old and super proud to be heading to 1st grade in September. Anna's hobbies include making anything in the kitchen, making art of all kinds and finding excellent yard sales. Anna, Garrett and June love to be outdoors whenever possible.
INTERIM ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Mrs. Paige Bulmer
Paige grew up in Staten Island, but left right after high school and never looked back! She has a BA in Psychology and a MSW, and worked as a social worker with children and families, before moving to Massachusetts to work at a retreat center on the side of a mountain! Paige and her husband Patrick have a one son, PJ, who keeps them on their toes, as well as a dog and three cats. Paige has volunteered as the manager of The Road to Jubilee Thrift store for the past 6 years, and is also a substitute teacher in her "spare time." She enjoys trivia, Lego's and camping!
Rev. Jongdeok Park
Rev. Jongdeok Park serves as the associate pastor at Cobleskill United Methodist Church. He holds degrees from Methodist Theological University in Seoul, South Korea, and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Illinois. In addition to his service at Cobleskill UMC, he is the pastor at Esperance-Sloansville and Gallupville UMCs, and a member of the Superintendency Committee in the Oneonta District.
His wife is Sunyoung Kim, and their daughter, Luha, is five years old and she enjoys her Kindergarten this year in Schoharie Central School. He enjoys working out at the YMCA gym and watching movies, especially, Mission Impossible series.
Ms. Dawn Schell
Ms. Dawn Schell serves our church as our Nursery Manager. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood education and has been running a state licensed child care program in her home since 1992. She has been providing child care at CUMC for over 10 years. Besides children she enjoys her two kittens, spending time with family and listening to music.
DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT
Hannah joined our team in November 2020 to assist Pastor Anna with all things digital, including the church's social media, website, newsletter, scheduling and announcing of our weekly worship live streams, and running the church account during live streams and Zoom Coffee Hour.
Hannah is a Ministry Assistant & Assistant Director of Summer Camp at Skye Farm Camp & Retreat Center, where she runs digital communications and assists with programming, staffing, and day-to-day operations of the camp. When she's not working, Hannah enjoys exploring the Adirondacks on foot, on skis, or in a kayak, depending on the season!
WORSHIP A/V TECHNICIAN
Kristin joined our staff in October 2020 to help the church run our live streamed worship services. Kristin is the head audio engineer for The Egg Performing Arts Center in Albany, NY and also runs live sound, recording and stagecraft for other organizations in the region. She worked as a broadcast engineer for WAMC Northeast Public Radio for 13 years doing everything from mixing live broadcasts, repairing equipment, directing the Boston Symphony Orchestra broadcasts from Tanglewood to producing/hosting radio shows. She ended her tenure at WAMC as the programming director. She enjoys all things that combine science and art-so audio engineering is the perfect match!
Rosalie is our wonderful church treasurer. When she's not helping the church manage its finances she enjoys eating breakfast at The Brickhouse and helping her husband Alan manage their dairy farm.
Ms. Betsy Walsh
Betsy grew up outside of Philadelphia in a small Christian church community in a town called Bryn Athyn. She attended the religious elementary and high schools there. After graduating she attended several colleges including Bard College and Temple University.
She married her high school sweetheart and they have four children.
Betsy became an organist at the age of 45 after working at the church school for 18 years as a piano accompanist. She enjoys hanging out with her family, reading, and indoor gardening.
