Meet Our Staff
PASTOR
Rev. Anna Blinn Cole
Rev. Anna Blinn Cole serves as the lead pastor at Cobleskill United Methodist Church. She holds degrees from Bryn Mawr College, University of Delaware and Candler School of Theology at Emory University. In addition to her service at Cobleskill UMC, she is a member of the Upper New York New Faith Communities Lead Team and a member of the Upper New York Committee on Camp and Retreats Ministry.
Her husband, Garrett, is an avid pickle-ball player and their daughter, June, is an adventurous seven-year-old. Anna's hobbies include making anything in the kitchen, making art of all kinds and finding excellent yard sales. Anna, Garrett and June love to be outdoors whenever possible.
OFFICE MANAGER
Paige Bulmer
Paige grew up in Staten Island, but left right after high school and never looked back! She has a BA in Psychology and a MSW, and worked as a social worker with children and families, before moving to Massachusetts to work at a retreat center on the side of a mountain! Paige and her husband Patrick have a one son, PJ, who keeps them on their toes, as well as a dog and three cats. Paige has volunteered as the manager of The Road to Jubilee Thrift store for the past 6 years, and is also a substitute teacher in her "spare time." She enjoys trivia, Lego's and camping, and is very happy to be a part of Cobleskill UMC's team.

NURSERY MANAGER
Dawn Schell
Ms. Dawn Schell serves our church as our Nursery Manager. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood education and has been running a state licensed child care program in her home since 1992. She has been providing child care at CUMC for over 10 years. Besides children she enjoys her two kittens, spending time with family and listening to music.

ORGANIST
Betsy Walsh
Betsy grew up outside of Philadelphia in a small Christian church community in a town called Bryn Athyn. She attended the religious elementary and high schools there. After graduating she attended several colleges including Bard College and Temple University. She married her high school sweetheart and they have four children. Betsy became an organist at the age of 45 after working at the church school for 18 years as a piano accompanist. She enjoys hanging out with her family, reading, and indoor gardening.

Rosalie is our wonderful church treasurer. When she's not helping the church manage its finances she enjoys eating breakfast at The Brickhouse and helping her husband Alan manage their dairy farm.

NURSERY MANAGER
Hilary Taylor
Ms. Hilary Taylor serves our church as our Nursery Manager. In her day job Hilary works with toddlers at a day care and loves interacting with children as the explore. Hilary brings creativity and a passion for inclusivity to our church nursery. When Hilary's not chilling with the toddlers, you can find her hanging out with her own kids, taking long walks, getting iced coffee and going on long drives. All children from newborns to pre-schoolers are welcome in our nursery.

CHOIR DIRECTOR
Burke Herrick recently graduated from Messiah College with his Masters in Choral Conducting. As a local to Schoharie County, Burke performs on trumpet with his jazz ensemble and as a vocalist for numerous groups. Burke brings an excitement for choral music and performance to our Chancel Choir. Rehearsals are at 7pm on Wednesdays and all levels of singers are encouraged to join.​
