Beginning Sunday March 15 and continuing at least through Sunday April 26, we plan to suspend in-person worship gathering at Cobleskill UMC. Instead of gathering in our sanctuary, we will gather online to share our prayers, read scripture, hear a message and sing songs. We will use two platforms to share our worship service. One will be through our church’s Facebook page at 10:30am on Sunday and the other will be through this webpage under the new "Watch" tab.
Our church offices will remain open only on Fridays 9-12:00 during the hours of the food pantry. Several essential AA meetings are still meeting. Non-essential groups (Scouts, Bible Study, etc) and church meetings are asked to make other meeting arrangements or suspend meetings at this time.
For emergency food assistance, please call our office and leave a detailed message: 518-234-3671.
Our God is not contained by the boxes we worship in, and our church is not defined by our physical presence in a building. May the spirit of our faith community grow stronger and more resilient as we find new and creative ways to serve God and neighbor in these strange days.
